Day One & Two!

So arriving in copenhagen was soo relieving, got all my luggage and everything :)

When we got here we literally like, had half hour to get our luggage to our rooms and shower/get ready and do whatever it is we had to do and then get down and meet everyone again. so we just changed and got a little ready and then wee all went to McDonald's ..which i didn't eatt..then all the students went to the bar called "Inter Pool"which is the bar we would always go to when we are here, it is like maybe a mile away, which we have to walk. (we walk EVERYWHERE) and so the bar was really fun it was just like all us americans for a while then everyone left at like 1030 and me hilary and 4 of the guys stayed at the bar cause it was our first night and stuff and drank, then a ton of Danish people came to the bar at like 11-1130 and we eventually started talking with them and it was really weird like we would talk about just our countries and the differences and it was cool to get in convos and here what they think about america and all this shit.. like politics and obama and the economy and just random things it was really fun, they were giving us soo many drinks and i tried so many different beverages so that was fun. i ordered this shot, and it was just some vodka and they bar tender lite it on fire and i had to like hit my hand over the top and all this confusing stuff and then take it and i spilt the first one :( and tried again and didn't do it right but it was funny! i didn't even get to drunk or anything just a little fyi. :) i was pretty much sobered up by the time we got home cause it was a freeezing walk back and it felt like we were talking for like 10 hours literally.. augh. so we got home at like 230am our time and got to bed around 3 and then woke up at 6..and i maybbe got 2 hours full sleep for a totall of all my flights so since sunday night itd say i got about 5 hours of sleep and its wednesday night, so me and Hilary decided to stay in tonight and do our homework and relax and the room was a messss cause we haven't had time to get settled or anything, the beds are realllllly comfortable and the shower is really nice, its soo weird though, everything is so different, like the toilets n showers and stuff.

today we woke up at 6 and had brekfast at like 730 which i had a piece of toast and juice..not a very good selection. then met at 8 to go to copenhagen.. (we are staying in roskilde or whatever, so copenhagen is maybe 20 minutes away.. we walk EVERYWHERE unless we switch from copenhagen to rosk. or something.. literally we have been on our feet walking since 830 this morning and didnt stop till about a half hour ago which was 730.. so 11 hours of straight WALKING. haha .. but we went to carlberg brewery and it was okay,.not to interetsted in beer and stuff but whatever :) after that there was a carlsberg bar that everyone got free beer at.. i didn't indulge because i think all the beer was nasty at carlsberg and i was not feeling so hot from the night before.. i had such an upset stomach allllll day it was sooo annoying.. :( :( but after carlsberg we came back to roskilde and had lunch which i didn't eat cause all the gave us was a nasty tuna pre made sandwhich and a old bannana. they dont feed us very well haha.. then we had some little orientation and went over our itenerary and our class work. then we went to the Bay in roskilde..walked there and took like half hour or so.. so far. the bay was really pretty ill probly have pictures on facebook of it by the time this is read. we just learned about the viking ships and all that junk.. borring. haha after the tour we all just kind of left together and left the 2 teachers and our 2 like..tour guide kinda people who were soo like snippy and mean, because we were all starving and wanted to stop heraing about vikings haha. so me and 4 other of the girls and cody went to downtown roskilde were all the shops are and went to some shop and i got a chicken bacon cheese 6 incher kinda thing..it was actually pretty good. after that cody left because me and the girls wanted to SHOP!! i bought a swimsuit.. its really cute. i think it was like $35 american money or something?? then we walked home because all the stores closed and now im back to the dorm room and i think hilary just fell asleep haha

seriously this money conversion thing is soo frustrating..i haven't like bought anything but the swimsuit..and food is SOO expensive.. im like not even eating beause its so expensive and i get so confused and its hard to figure out how much your spending..like we were at 7eleven down the street cause the girls got chips and pop for tonight to munch on..and one bag of like chips (smaller bags) were like $5.. and the water was like $2 so im like omg i cant spend $5 on CHIPS so i didn't get anything :( i dont know HOW i am going to eat for 13 weeks because the food is so expensive and so is everything pretty much its realllly frusterating..but i will get used to and and probably buy food here and there but i will just not eat much..

but overall i am having a great time and im soo glad i came..the group gets a long really well..though there are clicks of people but that will always happen anyway..but we all can hang as groups to. i get a long reallly good with the girls here to which im so happy about, and everyone is pretty chill. and me and hilary get along really good to so that works well

the blow dryers dont work...the outlets work with the converters but it like eats up the blow dryer and when your using it you feel like its going to blow out fire balls at you or something...it gets super hot and you can tell that its about to blow a fuse or something, and the straightner does the same..so we dont know HOW we are going to do our hair i hate when i have to air dry it.. its nasty nad makes me crabby and doesn't make me feel refreshed haha.

the weather has been alright, warm for like half hour then gets cold then warm..jeans and long sleeve is perfect, Sometimes you can get by with short sleeve but always have to carry long sleeve..and its rained everyday we've been here, but not for long usually only of and off for like an hour. it gets supppper windy here which sucks cause when its like in the 70's it feels like 50's or something cause the wind gets really cold!

pathetically its 8:16 pm and i may go to bed.. i can stay up late any other night and be fine in the morning its just i need to make up for missing 2 nights worth of sleep..so if i take tonight and get it all back i think i will be fine the rest of the time.. i think like half people are going out half are staying in..some say inter pool will be really fun tonight cause there is some thing going on or something? i dont know, dont really care i guess we will have plenty of time to go out its only the second night, but time is going by REALLY fast already, but i do feel like ive been here for a really long time though already.

steven- i love yah and im thinking about you all the time!! sucks the time zone is totally different..i was up at 230am last night trying to talk to you but you weren't around or something..i tried you on FB and skype and nothing.. and i had brendan balen text you and mom and have you get on FB or skype but no anwser or something i dont know i think mom said you were at the twins game with one of the boys?? i dont knoww :( i hope work is going well this week and you do good at softball today!!

mom- haven't heard how michigan is going but i hope it is going well, thank you SO much for helping me come here and all that you've done to make it possible, i am so glad i came and its only the 2nd day, i am having a lot of fun :) i love you!! let me know how things are going on facebook or something
