Everyone needs a good work out playlist
I have music to thank for my long distance runs. There's been so many times I've wanted to quit my run but then a song comes on the playlist and just amps me up. I thought it'd share my most current playlist that I've been listening to the past couple weeks. Hop on the treadmill, hit shuffle, and do work!
The playlist is far from perfected, but it's sure been getting me through my 6mile runs =) I am all for upbeat, dub step, little techno, remix's kind of music for my workouts, but everyone's different. I know a lot of people like hard rock and such too. If anyone has any suggestions similar to this type of music, send them my way!!
Oh, and I listen to all of this on Spotify. I paid for a $10 premium membership, and I LOVE it. it works great on the Iphone and computer, well worth the money, highly recommend it.

New Year, New Blog!
I decided to make another/different blog than the one I've been using for many years. This one is more of a lifestyle blog where I'll post about music, healthy and fitness, fashion, personal life, whatever it may be! Sometimes theres so much going on in a given day, week, month or year that I let it pass me so quickly. I like to have something to look back on and read about a certain time in my life or what I was interested in or "what was I thinking" type situations. And what better way to do that than start a blog, because lets be honest I am not a diary type girl and I hate writing. So this is pretty much where I'll keep all my gazillion thoughts that run through my head all the time. Read it. Enjoy It. Or, don't. Doesn't matter to mee!!
My Favorite Salad
I once (well, weekly) went to Logjam, my personal fav restaurant/bar in Menomonie and ordered a salad. When I go out to eat, the last thing I want is a salad. But I am sure glad I ordered one. It was delicious!! I'm not sure what its called but since the salad is 10 bucks at the bar I pick up all the ingreds ingredients myself and make it at home.
Here's what I put in it;
Apple: I slice a half apple or less into really small, think slices.
Cranberries: I usually buy a big bag of them, or get individual boxes
Chicken: Boneless, skinless of course.
Romaine:
Feta Cheese: I buy the reduced fat kind
Dressing: at Logjam they use Popeye seed dressing, but I use light ceaser. I've also used raspberry vinaigrette, that's god too.
Sometimes I add walnuts, or sliced almonds too.

My opinion on whats shared on social media
People complain and rant about what people post on Facebook or twitter, whether its complaining about something, being emo, drunk posting or tweeting, or anything people DON'T like.Social media is free for whatever you want to do with it. In the status bar on Facebook it says "whats on your mind..?" Is it really that big of a deal that sometimes someone vents into social media and actually does say a whats on their mind? Just because someone posts something you would never post yourself, doesn't mean they are in the wrong or its TMI (unless it really is like..TMI TMI)
What's so great about it is that on twitter AND on Facebook you can control whatever you want to or dont want to see.
If someone is tweeting to much or being annoying on twitter or tweeting about shit you don't like un-follow them! So easy. And if someone is posting stuff on facebook you'd rather not hear about, you can either unsubscribe to getting their updates or you can unfriend them as well. On top of that you can block them. I'm sick of hearing people bitch talk negatively about what people are tweeting and what is on their status updates. If you don't like it don't effing read it, again SO easy and avoidable. And I guarantee you have posted something people thought was dumb or TMI or a waste of a read or whatever it may be.
Sure I'll post a lyric or a quote to twitter or Facebook, if I feel like it i'll do it. Sometimes they mean something sometimes I just liked the way it sounds or it was inspiring to me. I don't CARE if someone thinks its annoying. I can assure you I have posted stuff that most likely TMI for someone, to emo for someone, to inappropriate for someone or something and I'm sure you have too. I don't really have much of a filter and obviously its a good and bad thing. No not everything I think should be on twitter or Facebook (that'd be highly entertaining and inappropriate though) (and actually my girlfriend and I may make a separate blog where those thoughts will be) but if I wanna say something I will. I have taken it too far myself when sharing details about someone that I really wasn't appropriate to be putting them on blast on Facebook and I do regret it because I did it out of revenge and anger, and it DID turn around and bite me in the ass when I lost the trust from someones family because of it. I have learned my lesson since then though!
(Please do don't send me pictures of your gens, but I found this picture inappropriately appropriate for this blog post, and not gonna lie its probably something I would say joking around.)
End of Back to my vent sesh.. (sorry its not over)
I know I have never have complained to someone about what someone posted one time so I catch myself doing this too, buuttt they were tweeting about ME and I didn't agree with it, but at the same time like I've been saying people can say whatever the hell they want, and your not always gonna like it and you either deal with it or un friend/block them. TRUST me I know the awesome annoying people on Facebook and twitter (I've been one of them) and I'm not saying people DON'T take it too far or share to much information in social media because I have certainly have seen posts where I wonder WHY the hell they are sharing this with the world. Sometimes
I don't do think people sometimes post things for attention, or to get back at someone, or to brag, or are overly annoying and excessive, but everybody has the same a different story and different background and sometimes people need to get things off their chest and if they have no where else to vent or say people to share things with just let them be and move on to the next person your about to creep.
I guess my point is that that's their prerogative and them saying what they feel like saying at any given time, and one shouldn't be so naggy about it.
Oh, and if you love don't like when people over-share, talk about private things, get offended easily, get annoyed easily, or over think and analyze what is written on the web, you should probably not be reading my blog. I am an open book, and I intend to stay so.
